What happens if students tied ?
Re-exam Policy for Ties: If two or more students have identical total scores AND identical performance in all subjects, they are declared jointly tied for that rank. In this case:
Re-Examination: NSC may conduct a separate re-exam for tied candidates to determine the final rank. The exam date and details will be communicated to tied participants via WhatsApp within 7 days of result declaration.
Important — Comeback Clause: If a candidate who was NOT in the initial top 3 wins the re-exam against initially-ranked students, they can claim that position in the final merit list. Conversely, if an initially-ranked student falls behind in the re-exam, their position may be reassigned to the re-exam winner. Only the re-exam determines final ranks — all decisions are final and binding after re-exam completion.
